European Funds for Viticulture: Deadline for Project Submissions Extended to November 30, 2026

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) has decided to extend the submission period for funding applications in the wine sector until November 30, 2026. The extension applies to two measures under the 2023–2027 CAP Strategic Plan: IS-V-02, intended for investments in tangible and intangible assets, and IS-V-07, which supports investments aimed at increasing the sustainability of wine production.

Projects are submitted through APIA

Funding applications are submitted through the Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA). The decision to extend the deadline was made following requests from producer organizations, which asked for more time to prepare complete technical documentation.

How Many Applications Have Been Submitted So Far

By the time the extension was announced, 21 funding applications had been registered in APIA’s electronic system, with a cumulative value of nearly 5.94 million euros.

– IS-V-02: Out of the available allocation of over 9.34 million euros, 18 projects were submitted, representing a coverage rate of 40.65% of the maximum allowable ceiling.

– IS-V-07: Three applications were submitted, with a total value of over 235,000 euros, representing a coverage rate of 9.26% of the ceiling.

The call may close early

According to MADR Order No. 49/2025, the application period may be closed before the November 30, 2026, deadline. This will occur if the total value of the submitted projects reaches 150% of the allocated financial ceiling, under the conditions set forth in the annexes to the regulatory act. For this reason, interested producers should not wait until the last days of the submission period.
