According to the MF order no.497 of 19 March 2024, on the establishment of the indexed monthly amount to be granted in the form of nursery vouchers for the first semester of 2024, published in the M.O. on 28.03.2024, the following changes are established:
For the first semester of the year 2024, starting from April 2024, the amount of the monthly amount to be granted in the form of nursery vouchers, established according to the provisions of Article 33 of the Methodological Norms for the application of Law no.165/2018 on the granting of vouchers, approved by Government Decision no.1045/2018, as amended, is 640 lei.
The nominal value established above shall also apply for the first 2 months of the second semester of 2024, i.e. August 2024 and September 2024.
Nursery vouchers are an extra-salary benefit that employers can offer to employees for the payment of fees at state or private nurseries that are affiliated to the nursery voucher system. It is up to the employers to decide whether to grant them.
