On 31.08.2022 was published in the Official Gazette OG 37/2022 for the amendment and completion of the Law no. 95/2006 on health care reform and of the Law no. 227/2015 on the Fiscal Code, as well as the establishment of other measures in the field of health care.
According to it, people who donate hematopoietic stem cells, i.e. those extracted from bone marrow or blood, from 18 September 2022 will benefit from exemption from the payment of social health insurance contribution (CASS) for ten years after donation.
