The year 2025 brings a new wave of Labour Inspection controls, with a strong focus on compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, labour relations, and the fight against undeclared work. Inspectors will strictly verify companies’ compliance with legal obligations, and penalties for violations will be applied without exception.
According to official announcements, this year’s main inspection priorities include:
• Implementation of occupational health and safety measures across all sectors.
• Compliance with working hours and individual employment contract provisions.
• Combatting illegal and underreported employment.
In this context, employers must be prepared for thorough inspections and ensure that all necessary documents and measures are in order. The 2025 inspections will focus on the following sectors:
Q1-Q4 – Temporary or mobile construction sites.
Q2-Q3 – Agriculture, forestry, hunting, and fishing.
Q3 – Occasional work carried out by day labourers.
Q1-Q4 – Supervision of industrial products.
Q4 – Employers with risks related to exposure to hazardous chemicals in the workplace.
Q1-Q4 – Monitoring risks in small enterprises.
