In the Official Gazette no. 964 of October 20, was published the Order no. 3.950 / 2020 of the Minister of Public Works, Development and Administration for the approval of the Financing Guide of the Program “Action Fund in the field of sustainable energy management”
The objective of the Financing Program “Action Fund in the field of sustainable energy management”, approved by GEO no. 158/2020, is the support of sustainable energy management at the level of poor / underdeveloped localities in Romania.
The purpose of the Program is to stimulate the improvement of infrastructure at the local level, as well as to increase the capacity and awareness of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
The performance of the program is measured by the evolution within each project of the following indicators: reduction / avoidance of CO_2 emissions; reducing energy consumption; reducing energy costs.
The specific areas of the Program are: thermal rehabilitation of public buildings; heating; energy supply, including renewable; public lighting; public transport; urban planning.
The program is funded by grants allocated from the budget of the Ministry of European Funds, and amounts from local budgets. The minimum value of the grant is 1 million lei.
