By Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2024, published in the Official Gazette no. 347 of 12 April 2024, the payment of the health contribution for certain sick leave certificates was modified.
Thus, from 12 April 2024, the date of entry into force of the ordinance, the obligation to pay the health contribution for the following indemnity codes is maintained:
- code 01 – temporary incapacity for work;
- code 07 – quarantine
- code 10 – 1/4 reduction of normal working hours for the purpose of preventing illness and recovering working capacity.
For all the others, the original mistake of the legislator is corrected.
