The Ministry of Finance approved in the meeting of March 25, 2021, according to a press release posted on the website, a series of measures to support the business environment, as follows:
- Exemption from the payment of the specific tax for another period of 90 days, starting with April 1, 2021, for activities carried out in the HORECA (Hotel / Restaurant / Catering) field;
- Extension of the fiscal facilities granted regarding the restructuring of the budgetary obligations, by extending the term for submitting the restructuring request from June 30, 2021 to January 31, 2022;
- Extension of the period in which taxpayers can benefit from the reimbursement of value added tax with the subsequent performance of the tax inspection, by extending the deadline from March 31 to January 31, 2022;
- Continuation of the application of fiscal measures to cancel fiscal accessories (such as interest and penalties), provided the payment of principal debts and other criteria mentioned in the legislation, by extending the deadline for submitting the application from March 31, 2021 to January 31, 2022;
Taxpayers can benefit from the payment rescheduling, in simplified form and accelerated procedure, of the budgetary obligations due after the declaration of the state of emergency, administered by the central fiscal body, for another period, following the extension of the deadline from March 31, 2021 to September 30, 2021
