Ordinance of the Finance Ministry (OMFP) 2206_2020

In the Official Gazette no. 675 of July 30, 2020, was published the Order no. 2.206 for the approval of the Accounting Reporting System on June 30, 2020, of the economic operators, as well as for the completion of some accounting provisions (annexed).

The main provisions for the companies that apply the Accounting Regulations approved by the Order of the Minister of Public Finance no. 1.802 / 2014, with subsequent amendments and completions, areȘ

*  The economic operators that in the financial year 2019 registered a turnover higher than 220.000 lei, have the obligation to submit until September 30, 2020, to the territorial units of the Ministry of Public Finance, the accounting report prepared on June 30, 2020;

The classification is made on the basis of the indicators determined from the annual financial statements of the previous financial year, respectively of the verification balance concluded at the end of the financial year 2019.

*  Entities that did not operate from the date of establishment until June 30, 2020, those that were temporarily inactive in the first half of 2020, those established during 2020, as well as legal entities that are in the process of liquidation, according to the law, do not prepare accounting reports as of June 30, 2020

*  Companies that decide that in the case of property, plant and equipment to change from the revaluation method to the cost method, in order to determine depreciation expenses, the cost of property, plant, and equipment at the date of the change in accounting policy, is the amount remaining after adjustments.;

*  during the period of non-use of an asset, depreciation is neither interrupted nor diminished by its reduced use, unless the asset is fully depreciated, and the depreciation method calculated per unit of product or service is used. , depreciation costs can be zero when there is no production, in which case depreciation is based on the use of the asset.
