Law 201/2025, published on November 28, 2025, amends Law 165/2018 on meal vouchers. Starting from the entitlements for November 2025, the nominal value of a meal voucher cannot exceed 45 RON. This value will also apply in the first half of 2026 and in the first three months of the second half of 2026. Additionally, if nursery vouchers cannot be issued electronically, their value will be paid directly by the employer to the nursery or equivalent entity.
