We would like to point out that the need to replace the environmental declaration came about as a result of Law 175/2023, which made a number of changes to the primary legislation on the Environmental Fund, according to the initiators.
The new form given by the Ministry of the Environment was published in the Official Gazette in Order 3.173/2023, which will apply from 1 January 2024.
If taxpayers/payers have erroneously declared their obligations to the Environmental Fund in one or more reporting periods, they may rectify the erroneously declared obligations by submitting the Corrective Environmental Fund Obligations Declaration for each period for which the erroneous declaration was made.
The amended Environmental Fund Liability Statement replaces the statement originally submitted.
The statement of liabilities to the Environmental Fund shall be completed by correctly entering all data for the reporting period for which the correction is made.
