The de minimis aid scheme provided for in the “ELECTRIC UP” Program on financing small and medium enterprises and the HORECA field for the installation of photovoltaic panel systems for electricity production with an installed power between 27 kWp-100 kWp required for own consumption and surplus delivery in the National Energy System, as well as 22 kW recharging stations for plug-in hybrid electric and electric vehicles, was published in the Official Gazette no. 86 of January 27, 2021, by Order no. 3581/2020 of the Minister of Economy, Energy, and the Business Environment.
The aim of the program is to increase the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, improve air quality by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, by using photovoltaic panel systems to produce the electricity needed for own consumption and delivery of surplus in the network national electricity, as well as stimulating the use of plug-in hybrid electric and electric vehicles, the development of environmentally friendly transport with low greenhouse gas emissions by installing charging stations for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
